ViaNova WANG
Move VS COBOL applications to Open Systems

ViaNova Wang migrates Wang VS COBOL applications - including data, files and support logic - to Open Systems and modern subsystems.
ViaNova Wang conversions are available in three versions.

On-line Migration

The setup is very easy: send us your code, and we'll send back a converted and ready-to-compile version, all over the internet. There is no faster or cheaper way! And if you feel a little suspicious, just give it a try for FREE.

For details about this super-efficient conversion solution, visit the On-line conversion overview.

Full Migration

A full ViaNova Wang migration uses a predefined target environment. Conversion is swift and optimal. Advantages include shorter migration time, complete project trajectory, less custom programming, increased automation ratio and full use of optimized tools for maximum efficiency.

The target environment is defined as:

Target platform Open System or Windows 2000
Language Merant MF COBOL
Database RDBMS (Oracle)
User Interface Graphical windowing UI

Other sub-systems and application components are migrated to preferred target implementations that guarantee maximum functionality and flexibility while keeping cost and timing within strict bounds.

Custom Migration

For customers that have additional requirements not covered by the previous solution, Ordina Denkart offers custom Wang migrations that combine existing utilities and technologies with custom-made tools and systems to provide a perfect fit. Source and target environments will be defined in close co-operation with the customer.

For more information and technical details about these different conversion solutions, please contact the Ordina Denkart Sales Department. During your inquiry, mention solution code ViaNova Wang.
